The Lady Hornets gave 100% total effort in their first 2021 game this year; lead by our two seniors, Madison Werling with 7 points and Hannah Byers with 3 points and 6 rebounds. The Lady Hornets had six freshmen fired up and ready to go, Amya Thompson, pulled down 3 rebounds and scored 1 point from the line. Miya Bradley scored 2 points and gained 3 rebounds. Savanna Cronin, returned to play after a major high ankle sprain, with limited minutes and snagged 4 rebounds. Ellie Wright, and Day’vona Little, both pulled down a rebound. Shavona Little , gave the squad some good minutes.
As we look forward to our next three home games we will take the L, as a LESSON LEARNED. Using the obstacles of today as opportunities for tomorrow.
Here’s to honor and dedication, Lady Hornets we are FAMILY! And, we’re all we got!
We face our neighborhood rivalry Watkins Memorial on Tuesday, January 5th.
Please remember to mask up and wash your hands often and social distancing whenever possible. Here’s to remaining healthy and safe!
Happy New Year
