Licking Heights Hornets sailed to an easy victory over Newark Catholic Green wave 8th grade 21-2 on Tuesday

Licking Heights Hornets fired up the offense in the first inning. Kyliee Trouten homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Licking Heights Hornets tallied eight runs in the second inning. Licking Heights Hornets big bats were led by Trouten, Madelyn Gates, Alissa West, Lily Reich, Lily Meidl, and Lydia Rauch, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Rauch pitched Licking Heights Hornets to victory. The bulldog went five innings, allowing two runs on five hits and striking out five.
